Zazhimi, sofresh farms

Today, we’re reviewing one of sofresh’s newer strains, Zazhimi. My first encounter with this strain was definitely earlier this year. It has become a staple in sofresh’s line-up as the year has gone by. Definitely one of the faster strains to sell, probably in relation to its great indica effects that are stony and relaxing. This one is definitely a couch potato or play some video games type of smoke.

Background

This strain and this farm: we had heard some rumors early in 2025 that the Winter and the change of season had severely impacted many crops, resulting in some strains being lost between farms. Zazhimi was one of the newer strains that came out during this time, which we had been hearing about this weather rumor. I will need to get my facts straight on whether that is true or not or maybe the strain was acquired for different reasons. Regardless, I remember feeling like it was rare to see the changing of strains at farms to this degree. I had gotten so used to seeing farms run the same line-ups or grows consistently. Now we’re starting to see some farms just churn out all types of strains without any consistency at all. I’ve complained recently about another farm not having a consistent strain line-up that they cultivate, but maybe that has something to do with biodiversity. I don’t know. I just like to burn it.

sofresh farms has been known for their amazing classic line-up. Bruce Banner, White Haze, Kosher Kush, their Award-Winning Durban Poison, Sour Diesel, just keep naming it, they’ve probably grown it. They were there in the medical days and have upheld their license and business since the start of cannabis in Oregon, way back in 2010. So for 15 years, they’ve been going strong.

Review

Zazhimi is definitely the new guy on the block, and I’ll say that convincing people to try it for the first time has been tricky! To start, the name. NO ONE can pronounce this strain name. Just think Sashimi but throw out the S’s with Z’s. Za-Zhi-mi. Simple. Now that you can pronounce it, you can really enjoy the aroma. The name is misleading to a degree. You’re thinking fish. I now interpret this as one of the finer delicacies when it comes to my `Za` selection, haha.

The crosses of this batch are Zkittlez x Mochi, gotta know your crosses folks. You can definitely smell the Gelato here; it has this distinct smell that always comes through. Once you know Gelato, you can smell Gelato. It’s sweet and almost has nice fruity notes to it. Giving a second smell, I definitely get some grapey notes in there but its definitely got that strong cheesy gelato smell in the background. Not really fishy at all, right?

Delivery

I smoked this out of my rooster, check those guys out at roosterapparatus.com.

Again, check these guys out! They have a fantastic product line! Catch them on a sale like I did and you’ll have an amazing piece you can enjoy smooth, clean rips out of all year long. Really, one of my best cannabis investments, I’ll be bringing some more reviews on my piece soon!

White Ash Rating

Let me tell you, it definitely rips clean. One of my regulars is always asking me whether you get `White Ashes`, whether the flower burns smooth and clean. You tell me, give me a rating! I’m giving this about a 7/10 this round.

Overall, a very smooth, relaxing smoke. I definitely caught some sleepy and munchie vibes from it but it’s also really late so I might just be tired. I’ll get an update on that next time! I threw another bowl back and my eyelids are crashing. Thanks for reading, til next time!

Stay Safe, Stay High!
