Right out of the bag, the aroma was incredible, but the real surprise came when I broke it open. I couldn't pull my nose away from the grinder. This is easily one of the stickier strains I've seen this batch. I'm not usually a fan of trichomes coating my fingers since it feels like you're stripping away what makes the bud special. And for anyone out there still handling flower with unwashed hands, please, I'm begging you, stop!
Strains like this are the gem of Oregon. There's no doubt this is one of Focus North's more eye-catching offerings in recent memory, with gorgeous bud structure and fantastic trichome coverage. I'm definitely looking forward to smoking more of it.
The flower burned perfectly clean, soft white ash, through and through. There was a mild cough as I headed back inside, but nothing brutal. Some strains I've had in recent years have brought me to my knees, but this one was smooth as can be.
